      Pros

      There are a number of people at GD who have been there for a while, bringing a lot of experience to the table. There's much that can be learned from old timers.

      Cons

      Management seems to always sell out engineers. They over promise and undersell the products, then jump down engineerings throats for struggling to deliver. Benefits are cut every year, and raises are practically non existent.

      Pros

      They have jobs everywhere. Its not bad if you dont plan on staying there for the long term and expect to be paid bottom dollar. If you are a white male expect to get paid more.

      Cons

      Not the best company to work for unless you are part of the good ol' boy club. Lower level contractors considered expendable and not paid well
