Pros

Great upside on advancement opportunities, a company that largely promotes from within. Great benefits, bonus, and pay packages.

Cons

Also hires people directly out of college who have no leadership experience at all and puts them in charge of 20-30 hourly employees with varying levels of experience. Very old fashioned politics stifle innovation and leave the company struggling to keep up with the competition and ever changing marketplace. Worklife balance was often an issue at field locations, with huge swings in schedules. Worklife balance was proven less of an issue at Non-production sites in the Minneapolis St. Paul area.

Pros

Benefits were fair. Lots of opportunities to take on additional work.

Cons

New Albany Pillsbury plant very unorganized. Union members not held to contract. Senior management let union members basically do what they please. No accountability for overtime yet junion salaried staff (team leaders) held to reduce overtime. Very much a 'Plan-of-the-Month' style of management. Senior management backs union members - not salaried staff.
