Pros

Still a decent place to work. Decent salary pay, good benefit and good employees.

Cons

General Mills is changing its corporate values culture. By outsourced many US jobs to India, company start cutting US jobs, lay off people. The Management is getting meaner and disrespectful, and company seems encourage it. The company is trying to cut cost from every corner, squeezing employees to an large open workplace called "Fusing". No dedicated working environment, no privacy. I have been working in this company many years, I am sorry to see the company is going to wrong direction.

Pros

Fearless "producer" mentality without a "boiler room" environment Very respectful of work style Sharp focus on getting things done through sustainable relationships Incredible facilities and benefits

Cons

"Kool Aid" culture; try to fit in or you won't be happy Entrepenurial: very little training Relationship-based: must build a network quickly Very rigid HR paths and new employee pipelines
