Pros

Some of the smartest people, extremely strong pay and compensation and a highly ethical culture.

Cons

Challenging business environment, difficult to progress in your career to higher levels and the workload, especially with all the restructures and lay-offs, can be extreme.

Changing company.

Pros

Good Benefits and decent pay.

Cons

Bad upper management. This company has products that do not meet the newer trends. Consumer wants less processed food and full disclosure on the label. GM does not want to do this. Younger people will not stay long term due to the games they play.

Pros

great benefits (though decreasing) generous vacation time and flexible work life balance, genuine family values, minority groups, good training options, typical benefits of working in a large company. Despite majority of the company being very mediocre, there are many stars and high qualify mid-level employees

Cons

on a general downward trend; older, inflexible leadership is struggling to change course of a gigantic ship headed the wrong way. But they're trying. Constant decline in business means less flexibility for employees to ascend/change opportunities/do what they want.
