Pros

Life work balance is excellent.

Cons

Been with the company almost ten years. Starting salary was on the low side. First few years, the annual merits and bonuses were good. Since the start of the pandemic corporate greed has set in. No bonuses were given to those that were in the field surrounded by potential infection. Executive management Stayed hidden under their office desks at home where most are still today. They will tell you the starting salary is competitive and it’s not. Nor are the annual bonuses and raises. Zero incentivized payouts during the year. What you get at the end of their fiscal year is all you get and it’s not staying up with inflation. Fiscal ‘21 I got a 3.5 increase while inflation was 8% so I took a 4.5% cut in pay. And I’m no slouch in sales. I’ve been in the top 5% in gross sales since the beginning.

Great People!

Pros

Really great people to work with - very smart. Company tries hard to make it a great place to work. Diversity and inclusion are the norm - this is wonderful!

Cons

Took a page out of the GE playbook to rank employees against each other and cut the bottom 10% every few years. While this isn't formally declared, it is the reality. This regular "calibration" process is unpleasant at best, and inhumane at worst. It is sad to see decent people fall victim to a soul-less corporate practice. Outside of calibration time, it is a fun place to work. During calibration times (twice/year), you are reminded that you are really just a number after all.

Pros

- Good starting salary for the job band levels if negotiating well

Cons

- Toxic environment (Mobbing) especially at Director levels - Job band levels completely deflated vs market - Culture of mediocrity - No career after manager level - Constant reorgs with big cuts (employees or budgets)
