Cant say anything good about the company itself. Only positive is they are in many locations.

Cons

No advancement, no incentives, no bonuses, no raises, poor healthcare options, horrible management, too much corporate overhead. The list goes on.

Corporate office located in KS is beautiful. Work life balance is very good.

Cons

This company is so bad at prioritizing their spending they were called out by congress. If you are thinking about working for Genesis at the corporate level I would highly suggest you look at their financial statements from before 2020. As of 2021 they have had 2 major layoffs in about the past 5 years. Cons would definitely be they couldn't pay their debts leading to a loss of over 1/3 of their business, while giving their former CEO millions of dollars, and needing to have a massive layoff.

Pros

I guess their mod comp program was nice, lets you opt out of benefits for a 10% increase on base pay. Nice…IF you already have medical insurance, otherwise you’d be giving up vacation time.

Cons

Genesis, in other coworkers words, slaves their employees. Do they care about patients? Or do they care about billing and charging them for their money? They have high expectations and pay on the low end. High turnover rate. Most of the people I know who work for Genesis say they’d cry at work because of how stressful it is. Former employees say they’d rather be homeless than to work for them again.
