      Pros

      Genesis has rehab opportunities throughout the states, able to transfer if you move. Experienced and professional therapists. Orientation for new staff members.

      Cons

      Unrealistic productivity demands lead to less quality care, does not provide supportive staff, poor management, difficulty getting days off. Doesn't support in-services for facility staff. No appreciation for staff.

      Pros

      Top down clinical support, free continuing education opportunities, focus is on clinical excellence. Reimbursement of membership dues for your professional organization. CEO holds quarterly calls to update all employees re company status.

      Cons

      Technology is older, IT support is challenging to access. Salaries seem a bit lower than competitors. I don't access insurance benefits but my coworkers who do seem to feel it is not good coverage.

      Wonderful opportunities to work with clients with a wide variety of communication/cognitive/swallowing/language disorders.

      Cons

      All business. It's driven by money, not patient care. Employees are disposable. High turn over rate at my facility for therapists and DOR.
