Clinical records software is amazing compared to others. Policies and procedures are very detailed. Very much dot com and electronic medical records.
Cons
Low wages for anything other than the CNE or CED, wage freezes for the last three years. The insurance package is basically an emergency plan with sky high deductible and premiums even for singe people. No staff training, poor budgeting for building maintenance and upgrades. Poor budgeting for staffing and supplies. They care about their bottom dollar instead of the lives of the people they are responsible for caring for. Shady business practices on the higher levels. They don’t want the buildings to use staffing agencies but they won’t pay their own employees a working wage, they could go to a local burger joint and make several dollars more per hour. During a company management change they kept a lot of pertinent information that employees needed to know to themselves until the very last minute. Many promises that were made were not fulfilled. They want to raise building census but do absolutely nothing to improve buildings that have the same paint from the 70’s and won’t give any departments any real budgets. They make it nearly impossible for buildings to fire staff that need to be let go. They give bonuses to the CEDs when they stay under budgets so buildings are always running on fumes for every thing. They do not pay their venders soon enough so many local companies do no want their business any more. It takes over an hour of being on hold to talk to someone with IT, they promise to send someone out to the building but never do. I worked there for over three years and never saw a single IT person in the buildings.
