Flexible schedule, wide patient population demographic.

Cons

Genesis is difficult to work for. There are limited opportunities for growth both career based and salary. High staff turn over, challenging relationships between contracted SNF and genesis, unreasonable productivity standards, unreliable documentation systems (frequent lost notes and evaluations)

The residents talk to you and share their lives with you

Cons

- Administration abuses their workers and oversteps boundaries. The most uncoordinated administration I have ever seen. People leave all the time - Treatment of residents is not the best at all. I would never send anyone I love to this place. They only care about the number of beds they have, and they do not ensure the security nor safety of residents, as residents could get through the door to leave (from the memory unit)

Nice therapists to work alongside, opportunities to grow, I advanced to become a DOR from being a PTA

Cons

No match on 401k, expensive health insurance, no raises, incorporation of group therapy Seems they are selling off properties at least in Maryland
