Pros

I really can't think of any .

Cons

Physical therapists see patients for evaluations and recerts only. PTAs treat patients for the entire reporting period while the PTs are expected to sign off on progress notes and discharge summaries written by PTAs. PTs are expected to go to other buildings or see patients at home to get their hours. The company is doing away with PRNS to save money and using staff PTs for coverage. This means working every other weekend and just about every holiday including Thanksgiving and Christmas. No raise in 5 years even though company continues to buy out other companies and show increased profits on the financials. Good luck using your vacation days, especially in the summer and around holidays. Pressure to get high minutes on all patients and to pick up med Bs regardless of skilled need.

Pros

Pay is ok for a small little town, building is from 1960' and it has seen better days! Nurses are very friendly

Cons

Health insurance sucks! Very expensive. Deductive is sky high. That do not want to spend Money to fix the building, just patch it as it break! Administrator hate when ask for approvals for repair
