productivity expectations are unrealistic when you consider the geriatric population is mostly sick and tired, rarely does the day go smoothly to see all patients in such a way that ensures 90% productivity.

Co-workers that care about providing quality care to residents, good shift premiums. Maintenance workers that care and try to make repairs promptly.

Cons

Very unclean environment, supply shortages, hostile management, greedy corporation, management's very careless regard for safety of residents; e.g. residents with same last name usually placed on same unit and same hall, removal of safety (wandering device) when resident is clearly at risk for wandering. Operating with decreased staffing. The list continues. . .
