Hello, Thank you for your honest feedback. Our team is glad to hear that you have utilized our free CEU perk offered through Medbridge and that you have enjoyed our cultural focus to help patients get their power back. At Powerback, we are committed to delivering an empowered approach to achieve your full potential–for all of our employees and patients. We're extremely sorry to hear that you are experiencing dissatisfaction with our benefits here at Powerback, and we appreciate the time you've taken to share your review, as this will only help us to further improve the lives we touch. In order to best address your valid concerns, we'd like to take a moment to provide more transparency on our current approach so that you receive clarity on our organizational policies. As of December 19th, 2023, we've updated our benefit policy to address 401k matching. After evaluating our benefits and compensation packages, we've found that now is the perfect time for us to adjust our policies regarding 401k matching to ensure we're providing the best support possible for Powerback staff. For more details on this update, please see the "Important Benefit Announcements" email from our Rehab Communication account, sent to all staff on 12/19. If you have any further questions regarding this update, please feel free to contact our dedicated HR solutions center via the HR page on the Rehab Central intranet. In regards to holiday pay, in June of 2016, we expanded our paid clinician Personal Hours to provide more flexibility around observed holidays and personal needs. Today, full-time Therapists and Assistants accrue up to 64 paid personal hours per year, based on hours worked, which averages to 8 full holidays. This change allows our teams the flexibility and freedom to choose days of observance based on their individual beliefs/interests rather than utilizing a standardized 8-day holiday time schedule. During the time since we transitioned Holiday time to Personal time, we have had feedback about staff no longer receiving any extra compensation when working certain holidays. In response to that feedback, we decided in 2023, full-time and part-time, non-exempt gym/center-based staff (this includes Powerback to You staff) were compensated for any hours worked on Thanksgiving Day at a 1.5x hourly rate (excluding team members in CA). Thanksgiving was chosen for this adjustment as it is a national, secular holiday in the United States. Lastly, we sincerely appreciate your concerns regarding our productivity requirements, which are reviewed annually and adjusted as needed depending on industry-wide statistics to align with other national providers. Again, we apologize that your experience thus far has been less than ideal, and we hope that this transparency helps you to further understand our Powerback policies. In order to address the other detailed areas of concern that you've identified, we encourage you to check out a unique support resource Powerback offers all employees. We'd love to hear further feedback, solutions, or ideas to improve our benefits from your unique POV, and we would highly encourage you to attend one of Carl's CEO open-office hour meetings. We sincerely want you to thrive and feel supported here at Powerback, and we have found that this resource is an excellent tool for employees to amplify their voices further. Each Monday morning/afternoon, these open-door discussions allow the chance for everyone to share their feedback unique to their POV here at Powerback in an attempt to collaborate and create solutions wherever possible. If you're interested in participating, these invites can be found through your Powerback gmail calendar. Thank you immensely for your review, and we hope you have a great day!
