Pros

The pay is excellent, and that’s how they get you.

Cons

This location needs an exorcism. Any human with a conscience and a heart can feel the dysphoria. New employees start excited, motivated, ready for a new start, with new relationships. With in months they are disappointed and regretful. The leadership in the building doesn’t bother to know their team; they’re too superior for that. They do not practice what they preach. They demand team work, but don’t consult the team when changes need made. The people who are affected, don’t get to contribute their opinion. Leadership quoted “get in line or resign”. Those with perseverance and tenur are not appreciated or acknowledged. You’ll hear about your shortcomings before they’ll recognize your successes. Education is not important here, as evidenced by: expecting team members to learn and retain while facing the distraction of performing their duties safely. Blatant favoritism …, this list goes on.

Pros

There are no pros here.

Cons

If you like instability and chaos, this jobs for you. Otherwise, RUN! Constant operational chaos results in frequent burnout. Benefits outrageously expensive, lack of management and accountability esp at center level resulting in a horrible culture for CNAs.

Pros

Good patients, adequate supplies to treat patients. Depending on which site you’re at, the teams can be a blast to work with or… a nightmare. Not the worst company to work for in healthcare by any means but, standards are already quite low.

Cons

Had to fight tooth and nail for a small raise in 3.5 years. Company has been on a “raise freeze” for over a decade it seems. Forced to go the extra mile without seeing a bump in pay. Employees overworked and understaffed all around the valley with severe detachments of executives from the clinicians and other Genesis staff treating and working on site. Money is the bottom line as it is for all healthcare companies.
