      This is a good company, but many shifts often work short.

      Pros

      They have average pay. The management has a number of support programs for tuition, retirement, and benefits. The union tries to represent the workers well.

      Cons

      Many shifts are worked with less than the correct amount of staff. The materials needed to care for patients is depleted at times. There are a few nurses who do not create a positive working environment.

      Pros

      Benefits after 30 days of employment. Vacation days for managers immediate. Large company that would allow growth for the right individual.

      Cons

      Some need to find that balance between business and ethics. The patients and or residents aren't just numbers or an insurance, they are someone's father, mother, sister, brother, wife and so on. It's not just only a numbers game. But it may be to some who want their quarterly bonuses while looking good on paper.
