Work autonomy, flexible work schedule, great culture that embraces empathy and team work
Pros
Flexibility, great culture, empathy is at the heart of everything we do and exercised daily, leadership is willing to listen, manager feedback is always honest and a good conversation, I have autonomy to be creative and think outside the box, people are very welcoming and nice, we are a caring company and it has been very apparent through covid and everything going on in the world (including the tragedies in Ukraine), open time off, people always seem to be happy and they are some of the best people I have worked side by side with, Genesys hires for cultural fit and relevant experience but is willing to give a chance to those who display a good attitude to learn and great mindsets, Genesys univeristy (GenED, used for continued learning), diversity and inclusion, minorities in leadership roles, communication from leadership is very transparent and trickles down to every employee level, Genesys is a global company that has grown faster than it probably thought possible and it has a very promising future - I can honestly go on... :)
Cons
Not necessarily a con for me, but for a lot of people it may not be their "cup of tea" - Genesys is a little behind when it comes to thinking like a large public company. We have grown very fast which means that lots of departments lack globalization/centralization and change is difficult. Flexibility and quick adaptability are a must to work here as we navigate through increased growth, globalization and bottlenecks in the process along the way but we will get there together. Things move really slow when it comes to approvals to do things. Yearly compliance training takes 4 hours and can be a pain.
