Pros

Genesys is a business, there to make products and deliver services that customers find valuable, and, in the process, make a profit and grow. In order to do that, it needs great employees with the right mix of talents and positioned in the right locations and organizations. Employees are both its biggest costs and its biggest assets. And Genesys knows this. So employees who can show they contribute, who produce and innovate, and who show they can add to the overall business find that the company is committed to their careers, committed to their longevity at Genesys, and willing to compensate appropriately. That being said, it's still a business. Not every strategic move is going to help every employee. Indianapolis employees are feeling it now. But the 5000+ global employees elsewhere are appreciative that they can contribute and appreciated for those contributions. There is no doubt this year has been tough for some. But it has been an amazing success for most. The future of Genesys is bright because of its position in the CX market, its growing set of innovative offerings, and, yes, its amazing employee base.

Cons

The negatives tend to be the usual for a medium-sized company: those times when you feel your idea is worth pursuing, but then discover some bureaucratic roadblock or, as a manager, when you want to reward great work, but can't do it in the way you want because of monetary constraints or the like.

Pros

Difficult to find one positive

Cons

I've never worked in a company with so much arrogance from senior management , unbelievably bad decision making , no real interest in staff satisfaction , actually no real interest in staff at all. Since the acquisition of ININ , the Frimley office has been in complete turmoil ; Sales teams have adopted a very aggressive strategy and if you don't perform , you're out! The rest of the company is still coming to terms with the mess the acquisition has created ; there's no guidance from the top , many of the more senior managers are clearly out of their depth , the stress level is very visible throughout and the majority of staff has just given up. The company doesn't have a culture , it doesn't have a real identity , it thinks of itself as a big player in the business world , yet staff is leaving every week. It has nothing to offer to keep staff motivated , not even a place to socialize at lunch time and some managers makes out that going to Sainsbury's at lunch time is a great perk to attract talent. WOW!Difficult to restore or even create a positive culture in the office , the communication is poor and most of the times contradictory , you will get an email/video from top level in Daly City telling you to take time off and recharge , then , at local level ,you're told you can't take leave because of workload.
