Considering Genesys is an industry leading Software company in the Customer service space and have fantastic year on year financial performance, you'd expect Genesys to pay their Engineers a good bit above market rate, since Engineers are the ones providing huge value to the company. Instead it's more like low middle to middle market rates. There are plenty of non Software focused companies that pay more than Genesys. This factor leads to good talent leaving.
