Pros
Overall, Genetec offered a positive work environment with a transparent and approachable CEO. In my experience, the company genuinely cared about the well-being of employees.
Cons
However, I felt like tenure took precedence over managerial skills, resulting in a lack of effective leadership and guidance. This hindered team productivity and caused frustrations due to unclear expectations and a general feeling of going through the motions and smashing out tasks rather than thinking about the impact we were making and measuring that. Felt like even when I raised things, nothing would happen.
