Pros

Exposure to amazing projects, one of a kind, very few in our field will have the opportunity to collaborate in such incredibly, and sometimes, otherworldly, projects Exposure to outstanding knowledge from colleagues, highly skillef, there is always something to learn from colleagues Great company environment, team building, office activities Company in Costa Rica pays for licenses and certification, when obtained Access to premium courses on Linkedin Bootcamp activities for selected members Great company benefits, health insurance, mental health assistance, massage therapists

Cons

Not all projects have good leadership and management. As a firm in Latam, with lower hourly fees, sometimes we are subject to disrespect from superiors across our US locations Work load is frequently unsustainable and irrational. In order to get the project deal, the proposal goes with a low fee for the client, causing staff to bill 40 hours but work realistically 60, weekly. Raises are not frequent, and when they come, it's very low, like 1% a year Usually they promise something and change their mind if it's not convenient anymore, roles and pay, which is highly unethical and shows lack of care for the employee. At the end, all you are is a number and if your number doesn't work for them and with their numbers, they won't think twice to benefit themselves.
