      Creative Community

      Pros

      I've been fortunate to work with some of the world's most creative people and companies as a partner, employee and consultant. That being said, I haven't experienced a community of creative people come together at this scale and with such authentic, collective care for one another's success in my lifetime. This is unique and incredibly powerful.

      Cons

      The collective energy and brilliance can be overwhelming.

      Pros

      there are so many pros with Gensler - Art believed that a constellation of stars would provide more interesting perspectives to our clients and more opportunity for our staff. A single ego will never dominate at this firm and that is a big pro to me. We focus on clients, we use data to back up our design and we always strive for what's next and how to enhance people's everyday lives through design. There is an entrenureal spirit here - it's contagious and bright!

      it's hard to find a Con - it's all about choice. choose to be happy, choose to make a change if you want something to go a different way or choose to take a chance - go the extra mile.

      Pros

      Lots of top projects, lot of amazing people both talent wise and fun factor wise. Company culture is the thing that set it apart from other places I have worked at. Not one sentence can summarize what this culture is like, but just know that there are a lot of very enthusiastic people, and not just enthusiastic about work, but about life in general. Oh and dont even start about all the perks and benefits

      Cons

      Somehow the deadlines are crazy, and there are always more than a few things happening. People think that when they hire Gensler, the employees all have three hands and four legs. Basically clients come with impossible deadlines and want good looking building at the end. The drafting is mediocre. There are better. It will be just enough to get through the project, but dont think you will win the next drafting award. Not even close.
