Fantastic place to work. Gensler's culture is really unique and carefully nurtured throughout the firm. The organization is set up to align interests, pushing everyone to respond as one team and care about each other. It allows designers to put the all too frequent drama behind them and focus on design quality, on clients, and on their own long term objectives and growth.

Cons

It takes more energy to change things in a large organization yet the Gensler culture ensures there's always a benevolent response to all initiatives.

Our People: I've never worked (in a 30 year career) with a more collaborative and diverse group of people who truly want the best for each other and our clients, creating and embracing opportunities with resources and support for each unique path. Design Excellence for Our Clients: I came to Gensler for design-excellence and not because I'm a designer, per se, but because I believe in partnership - in the process and in transparent dialogue with the client / team -plus the power of design and how the quality of our work can impact others - the users, the community, and our climate - for the better. The opportunities: they have been limitless.

Cons

It's hard to describe the cons of working at Gensler. I'm so very proud of the firm that has supported me with incredible career opportunities that make personal, life-changing goals possible.
