Pros

Gensler is the largest and most successful architecture and design firm in the world. So if you want to work for the 'A Team', this is the place! The projects are top-notch, the compensation and benefits are best-in-class, and there are lots of opportunities to move up or around among different offices - if you are smart and ambitious.

Cons

Like any large organization, Gensler has a political dimension. Being successful at Gensler doesn't just mean doing a good job, it means being NOTICED for doing a good job. So you have to be engaged, and you have to promote yourself. Also, there are Gensler ways of doing things, so if you are a maverick who wants to do it your way, you may not like Gensler.
