Incredible intern experience

Pros

I felt welcomed right away and my team always made sure I was getting a wide range of knowledge from every stage of design (schematic, design development, construction documents, site visits, client meetings, etc.) They were very willing to sit down and teach me things I didn't know, specifically Revit. My managers were awesome listeners, and made sure I was having a good experience, connecting me with the right projects. I

Cons

Since it is such a large company, I can tell it will take a lot of time, patience, hard work to get noticed. It is a pool of talented designers and everyone wants to stand out. There may be politics in higher management.

Lots of overtime and very easy to burn out. Spends more on parties than employee salaries.
