      Pros

      A sense of purpose as well as the ability to work hard and be rewarded for it. Genworth hires great people and there are opportunities to grow throughout the business. Ability for a hybrid work environment is a plus in today's world.

      Cons

      I can't think of anything, I've been here through the worst of our journey and Genworth is a great place to work.

      Pros

      Working for a company with a mission to help individuals navigate the aging journey and prepare for their future care needs. The leadership team is invested in making culture person-centric. Most leaders promote a healthy work-life balance. Time off and hybrid-work flexibility are generous. Compensation is generally appropriate for most roles with regular merit increases and performance-based bonuses. The total compensation package includes fairly priced and competitive benefits. Community engagement and volunteerism are encouraged. I have had an opportunity to work with remarkable colleagues.

      Cons

      Excessive micro-management and lack of autonomy in some roles compared to other comparable roles. Some technology challenges that frustrate customers and end users. Fewer advancement opportunities into senior leadership roles for those who have not completed a post-secondary education.
