      3rd tier insurance company, not looking to be top tier. Lack of effort by management to incent employees.

      Pros

      I got a pension contribution each year. Most of the time not huge micro management but that was changing. Top down nice focus on philanthopy and active charity involvement of all employees--- Heart.

      Cons

      lack of flexibility, no desire to grow the business, try new things to change growth trajectory of the business.

      Pros

      Genworth is moving forward by focusing on changing to meet the market. They have a new CEO and he is taking the company in a exciting new direction with an emphasis on web and brining in new business with their new and improved web site.

      Cons

      Some groups in the company are still doing things the way they have been doing them for the last 20 years. Change comes slowly.
