Genworth reviews

I worked at Genworth in 2009 for the Dutch Claims department. The Dutch branch had moved from NL to Ireland. It was a very messy process in which a lot of important documents were lost, making our work very difficult. I worked with another Dutch colleague and his Dutch was so bad that I had to check all his outgoing letters on top of my own. He couldn't follow procedure and I regularly had to interrupt his calls because it was getting so badly out of hand. I was held responsible for any mistake that this colleague made! He also threatened to rape me and that he would come by my house. When I tried to inform my team leader she just told me they were too busy dealing with all the bad media attention Genworth was getting in the Netherlands. This horrible situation went on for months. A mere one day before they fired us both did they decide to have a chat with my colleague telling him not to make those kind of threats again ( a pointless and also cowardly move). When I walked out the door on my last day I was so relieved! I would never recommend this place to anyone.
