      Decent benefits package/ campus perks.

      Cons

      My main complaint is there is a lot of separation between departments which leaves individual unaware of policies/processes. It can be frustrating trying to get a simple answer.

      Can't beat the DC location and potential opportunities (especially funding)

      Cons

      The university is known for it's law school and political science programs. The engineering/STEM programs (while bringing in a lot of grant money) is not the main draw, and feels like they have random fancy buildings to try and get more donations while the research facilities appear fancy, they lack the infrastructure to be truly useful.
