Pros
The education benefits are kind of worth it if you are into international relations or media and public affairs. Close to Metro with tons of restaurants nearby.
Cons
It really depends on the department that you are in but generally speaking people are more concerned with playing politics and breaking even instead of doing the work that needs to be done. Lots of people also love to pretend to play the role of "leader" but in actuality are just cowardly sycophants with no real direction or goal. Lots of behind-the-back talks and gossip which is just deplorable and unprofessional. I could care less about what X in accounting said to Y. Communication is also a big problem at the school but that plays hand in hand with the overall cowardliness of the staff. No one knows what to do or how to do it. Truly and exemplary instance of Academia in general. It's not much better at other schools.
