      university plagued with red tape and egos

      Pros

      most lower level staff is down to earth and easy to get along with. lots of opportunities for networking and events with free food, interesting speakers, etc.

      Cons

      upper management and some professors are overly sensitive or vain about their work. hard to get things done on large scale thanks to all the red tape. seems like money gets wasted on unnecessarily ornate or outlandish things instead of needed programs or updates.

      Pros

      Gain lot of knowledge from Senior Researchers and have a practical exposure in the automotive domain. The location of the school is also good, although the research lab is far. The School is very friendly to International Students.

      Cons

      I do not think any downsides of this university. The only problem being the commutation to the lab facility. We have shuttle provided, but not at good timings.

      Pros

      Excellent professional development including degree seeking opportunities. Cross-functional approach to making important decisions and project work. Bright students and staff and cultural events all around--a great environment in which to learn and always experience something new.

      Cons

      Although the collaborative environment is a plus, it can be frustrating at times as it can slow progress. As the University is quite large, you have to build your own network to be most successful.
