Staff attrition is pretty high due to the less than competitive salaries.

Sometimes faculty are a little pretentious and self-important -- NOT everyone -- and the pay is notoriously low for this area. The Uni is in a little financial hot water so they're cutting costs left and right and recently cut the hours of the custodian in our building, someone from the most vulnerable positions at the University.
