low pay burn out over worked

Was made to be a jack of too many trades outside of EHS that didn't advance one's aspirations in Lab Safety - majority of tasks were more along the role of Facilities Management. It appeared to be due to politics/tight budget and thus put more unnecessary strain on the role. Office was in a basement and severely outdated, which again points to the political aspect of decision makers with private funds available. Furthermore, the director was a micro-manager and exuded stress on others in the workplace - not to mention had a blatant disregard for subordinates' due courtesy and time.
