There are lots of great people doing amazing things at Georgetown. You will never be bored here.
Cons
As is probably the case at most academic institutions, staff are second fiddle to faculty. This includes a standard policy of giving staff lower % raises than faculty each year. Depending on the school/department, staff may not be valued at the level they should be and this can be frustrating. Ask around to see how satisfied staff wherever you are considering working. If the feedback you get is positive, you will probably love working at Georgetown.
