Pros

Engaging work in a high-level academic environment. There were always interesting events happening on campus that staff could attend. Good benefits.

Cons

Office is extremely siloed and internal communication is lacking. Lots of office politics at play. People are promoted based on favoritism rather than merit, and there is very little transparency. It can be easy or hard to advance depending on who you are/who in the upper management likes you. Pay is relatively low.
