      Institute for Reproductive Health: Good place to get a footing in SRH

      (This review is specifically for IRH:) Great people who care about the mission. Flexibility to help with projects outside of your portfolio if interested in the topic area. Celebrates milestones for each staff member, including birthdays, baby showers, and graduations.

      Cons

      (This review is specifically for IRH:) Pay bands are very firm, and upward progress within organization is slow. From entry level, the next possible promotion is after a master's degree or four years of work at the organization. As with most nonprofits, not quite enough staff for the work, but they're adding more soon.

      Pros

      Coworkers and students are outstanding. Good retirement package. It is in many ways a lovely place to work. Good location.

      Cons

      Very low pay. Way behind other area schools in the area. Always being asked to do more with less, always in belt-tightening mode. Very distinct silos. Lots of people all over campus working on similar things with very little idea what others are doing.
