      Pros

      I work on campus as a student guard. The pay is good. It feels good to make sure that the community is safe and protected!

      Cons

      The rules change building to building, so it is hard to maintain consistency. Also, there is sometimes a rule about computer/tablet use which is annoying. If I am not going to pay attention using my computer, I will not pay attention just because I'm reading a book instead

      Great experience as far as working with a prestigious University and able to meet management that have lots of connections Able to gain worthy work experience and responsibilities

      Cons

      treated as a regular employee with no pay/perks including weekends and 6-7 hour days

      The school scales really poorly- things handled across multiple departments don't get done in a coherent fashion
