-The most bureaucratic place - online procedures must be followed up with paper forms, which decreases efficiency and seems counterproductive.
-Salaries lower than other Universities in the region.
-Benefits are not good - no sick days provided which means people have to dip into vacation if something comes up health-wise.
-Stingy in terms of benefits and overtime pay.
-Managers do not provide opportunity to learn, and the fact that they have been in their jobs for 20+ years doesn't allow for any new ideas or change
-Technology is VASTLY behind schedule (and it doesn't help that managers are afraid of change and won't learn how to use basic computer programs!)
-People and departments as a whole are incredibly unhelpful. People like to push around a problem so that they and their department do not have to deal with it.
-Lacking in communication.
-Not enough employee appreciation
-People can literally sit at their desks and do nothing all day and get paid great for it.
