      Excellent environment with a blend of engaging academics/practitioners stifled by stagnant administrative staff

      Pros

      Excellent work environment respectful of people and professionalism. Great benefits with time given for worklife and continuing education. Really smart people working in key areas who engage and appreciate their staff. Collaborative environment where contributions are praised and encouraged.

      Cons

      Senior administrative staff are 9-5 with little more and no innovation. Abundance of paper-based procedures to get simple things done. Turnover in Senior Executive roles without appropriate succession planning has disjointed some parts of operations.

      Pros

      Right in DC, close to everything exciting. Amazing access to professors and top researchers. There are some real gems if you know where to look.

      Cons

      Very conformist culture. Not easily accessible to the rest of D.C. Serious problems within administration. Poor facilities for what students pay.

      Good place to intern and learn about law

      Pros

      The intern coordinator is super-flexible, supportive, and willing to help. She often sets up a lot of perks for the interns. The attorneys are friendly, very smart, and looking to engage you as much as possible. Overall, very laid-back and comfortable environment.

      Cons

      The quality of investigative interns can seriously hurt the attorneys and their work from semester to semester, but they have more students on hand during the school year as well.
