You must work at least 50+ hours weekly. There is constant high stress and constant threat of someone taking our place or getting fired. There are always many crisis situations to handle because of the number of students in our rooms: about 75 students per teacher. Because of the very stressful conditions, there is a high turnover rate among teachers.

Admin and instructional coaching department are horrible at the high school level. 2 admin lied in my interview about bonuses making up the 20k pay cut moving from IRL public school. Schedule is packed with meetings and micromanagement tasks--get a TPS report cover sheet. Classes are overloaded. The CEO quit in disgrace and that week no one got paid on pay day. Tons of folks showed up to the scheduled board meeting, and they literally had the nerve to joke about so many showing up and wondered why. We stated it was bc of not being paid. They brushed it off as bank issues on our end. Every single person in the organization had identical bank issues? Nope. No respect for teachers at all here.
