Best job I've ever had! (I've been here 5.5 years)
Pros
This group of people is more supportive than any other group of people I've worked for or with. They are patient, understanding of my needs, both personally and professionally, and they work with me as I need it. It IS A FULL TIME JOB. A lot of people think that working from home means you can work 10 hours a week and expect flexibility - this is not that job. However, they have never asked me to work more than 40 hours and they have great PTO for when I need time off. I love how student-focused our school is - we are here for the kids and we provide them with a unique environment to succeed.
Cons
There is some travel to the Atlanta area, but only 3 or 4 times a year and GCA reimburses for travel expenses so it's not too bad. The salaries are a bit lower than the brick and mortar schools, but they provide us with a laptop/printer & scanner/reimbursement for internet at the house, and I don't spend as much on business attire and gas getting to work every day. We also get performance based bonuses (that does NOT happen in brick and mortar) and that helps offset the pay discrepancy a little bit.
