Pros

Work from home, no mileage on car except for few trips to Atlanta, benefits

Cons

Stress, LONG workdays, have to work weekends to get everything done, changing policies- don’t wait long enough to see if any one thing works before moving on to something new.

Pros

Work from home and thats it

Cons

You'll be working 7 days a week till 10-11 pm daily and expected to be available 24/7. Zero respect for work home balance. You work 8 to 5 pm for less money then any other school and the workload is completely unmanageable......think 7 or more meetings a week and a 5 block teaching schedule. Every mistake is recorded and everyone stabs everyone in the back. Terrible work atmosphere and that starts with the terrible head of school. She doesn't give a ×××÷ about what the teachers say. There's less flexibility at this school then any I've worked at. You're home but don't expect to spend time with your family. You're constantly set up to fail. The turn over at GCA is higher then 50% for a reason. There's a reason their teachers start and leave constantly. The amount of stress they keep above you isn't worth working from home. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Pros

work at home, no commute

Cons

Angela Lassetter is the reason the school went bad. All the teachers agree that K12 was better and we miss the leadership, experience and value from K12.
