Pros

Pay check every two weeks

Cons

Latest is upper management wants more feed back. This is a joke becuase people that do give feed back get fired. The have a whole division in the mill that has not gotten their reviews for the work they did last year. That being said it is clear a message to this managers employees. The management style is fear based. I will be happy to leave as soon as the job market picks up. I would recommend any one thinking of taking a job at GP take a long hard look at what else is out there. As others have said about MBM it is a joke with upper management. They talk the talk but rarely walk the walk when it comes to MBM

Pros

Solid pay check every two weeks. I was allowed to take my 5 weeks of vacation. I did have decision rights over my direct reports.

Cons

Koch bought GP in the spring of 2006. Immediately we all went through MBM Training . MBM teaches integrity, humility, respect, fulfillment, etc. Senior management does not practice this in my division. Commitment and dedication make no differerence whatsoever. I got a very raw deal in the end. If you are 50+, make a decent salary, and have 15+ years of seniority, you had better be looking for a job. No bonuses since the Koch acquisition. No raises since the Koch acquisition.
