Pros

Competitive pay for my position. Health care benefits aren’t that expensive for myself but can be expensive for others. Starting PTO is 2 weeks with an additional 40 hours of payed sick time. Maximum vacation for hourly positions is 5-6 weeks.

Cons

Management in the plant is virtually useless. HR is only here for their benefit and very rarely assists hourly employees with disputes. Judgements such as termination due to points or handbook violations are not handled with equality. Certain employees can amass triple the amount of allowable occurrences and have nothing said to them while others will be written up because they made a simple mistake. Time cards and vacation requests are usually not done in a timely manner and have to be corrected after the fact (this is by department).
