      Pros

      Very supportive company for getting approval for projects and being open to trying new things. Resources are here for running projects effectively through supported travel, internal resources for managing of projects, and software packages to support design and management. Very good work culture and values that are passed onto the employees.

      Cons

      Since the company is so large there is a learning curve to understand all of the available channels to go through and which rules need to be followed regarding project management. This can all be fixed through training and collaborating with co workers, but is hard to just jump into.

      Pros

      GP takes care of its employees. They are serious about the open-door policy, and the guiding principles make this a good place to work.

      Cons

      Raises are rarely given. Vertical promotions are hard to come by, meaning once you reach middle management it's likely you won't go anywhere else or get a raise. For this reason, there's a fair amount of turnover of senior employees, as they can get higher salaries and more responsibilities at another company.
