Pros

Looks good on resume. Plenty of opportunities to take on more challenges and get time in front of senior management. Company does a great job of training employees for the job.

Cons

Pay not comparable to the amount of work and time you put in. Low base pay and standard increases in pay over time (not based on value created as told). Company uses incentive compensation to distract employees from realizing they have a low base salary. Very few women and minorities in upper management and they aren't compensated as well if they are in the positions.

Pros

Close to home...good pay...good benefits.. Great employees. Good employee service center online to review your benefits and employee info

Cons

Crappy scheduling of work to be done, mandatory overtime working employees on average of 68 hrs a week. Horrible training process. Setting unrealistic goals using a 1/3 of the workforce that would be needed to complete said goals

Pros

GP is has a great company culture. They work hard to welcome challenges and become more transparent. I genuinely believe the majority of people at this organization try to do the right thing.

Cons

There still exists a subtle hierarchy and you better fight to get rightfully compensated. They tout that you're compensated for the "value" you create, but if people actually saw that they wouldn't have some much bloat on their office floors. Truth is that GP is an old school company struggling to adjust and retain top talent, especially the young guns.
