Pros

They are big on safety-0 tolerance; greenness; efficient use of recycled material, and taking ownership of job. They have ethics rules in place---fair treatment of everyone. Overall the treatment is good.

Cons

Some supervisors are lacking in the area of training, and knowledge. My supervisor did not know as much as I did about the job----he did a poor job on instructing me---I know, I have trained many people on various jobs.

Pros

Georgia Pacific is a company that values it's employees. There are plenty of career opportunities at Georgia Pacific, as well as room for growth within the different areas of Georgia Pacific.

Cons

Like most companies, there were some challenges with Management. For example, allowing specific individuals to get away with things that were obviously inappropriate at work.
