We invest time in them while they do mediocre work and then they leave. - Hard work is not recognized or rewarded. Once they catch on that you are competent you will do the work of 4 engineers to make up for the engineers that produce nothing - Culture sucks. Forced to return to work because Trump said so. HR is adverserial. - You have to pay for your own parking. - CRB is a terrible building. Always too cold or hot. Lots of construction. - Leaders are too swamped to be organized. Projects feel amateur and code quality is low. - Near zero opportunity for growth. - only opportunity for a raise is every 5 years and you have to spend your own time feel out a ridiculous promotion packet to beg like a dog for a measly 6% raise. - President quit when things got tough.

Pay increases can be rough, hit a pretty big wall after about 5 years of experience.
