Pros

Georgia Tech has some very well rated graduate programs with a number of top quality research groups and solid funding. Graduate programs are never wonderful (which is good so that people leave) but Tech's is a fairly good option overall.

Cons

By constantly pushing to be top tier and compete in rank with private research institutions, Tech has increased pressure on itself which creates loads of bureaucratic frustrations.

Pros

Training sessions concerning how to be a good TA. TAs are collaborating. 50 mins recitations, twice a week for one section. GTA need to TA for 2 students.

Cons

Grading...Many quizzes and tests at Georgia Tech, so you will be grading every 2 weeks. When the class is large, that's really a lot of work.
