Pros

There're many reasons you want to be a GRA. 1. You will get tuition waiver for whatever program you are enrolled in Georgia Tech. 2. If you are a Ph.D. student, you are actually getting paid to do your own research to your dissertation. 3. The Tech campus is great, and located in midtown Atlanta.

Cons

The only con of being a GRA is you cannot take too much courses. Because, GRA work combined with too many course works will make your life miserable.

Pros

Taught for study abroad program. Lots of opportunities to teach around the world. Students are smart and ambitious. Material is challenging. Living costs covered.

Cons

Pay was only decent, though many of the living costs were covered. Classes were really hard for full-term, let alone abbreviated semesters, so students had a hard time.
