Pros

A great place to work. Lots of opportunities for the research. Friendly colleagues. The school is beautiful with lots of activities. Amazing green campus in the middle of Atlanta.

Cons

Stressful. Most of the time, weekend work is necessary. The campus is in the downtown Atlanta and you can expect huge traffic if you commute. Living near to the campus is really expensive.

Decent pay for part-time, not minimum wage Everyone's pretty friendly as long as you do what you're supposed to Sometimes you get access to free food (very valuable to college students) Abundant networking opportunities because you're dealing with GT's elite alumna and business partners Not a huge time commitment at all (works great with college student schedule)

Cons

Dress code is kinda strict so in the winter prepared to be cold Long hours on your feet (must wear comfortable shoes, I suggest sneakers) Must commitment to work schedule, if something comes up you better have a good excuse High turnout rate

Work at one of the departments providing, support. You get a wide variety of support tickets and learn a lot across a wide variety of subjects. Good for learning more related to Computer Science field

Cons

Sometimes need to find things to do on your own, because there are times when there are not as many pressing issues
