Pros

Always working on innovative projects. Working there as a graduate research assistant at the School of Aerospace engineering gave me incredible opportunities to get my hands dirty and discovery new things.

Cons

Georgia Tech is known for its rigorous academics, but I think they are all worth it. The salary for graduate research assistants are pretty minimal, but if you play your cards right, you can get through grad school without having to take out a loan!

Pros

As an undergraduate, I have a large class load and my mentor and principal investigator (PI) are very understanding of my hectic schedule. The facilities and faculty are some of the best of the best.

Cons

I've been given a few different projects to focus on, so it can be a challenge to see a big picture at times. Also, I find myself very attached to the projects and wanting to be in the lab constantly, which can have a detrimental effect on my work-life balance.
